Pottery House Cafe – Pigeon Forge, TN
We love this restaurant and usually frequent it on several occasions when we visit the Smoky Mountains. It sits in an area of Pigeon Forge, called the Old Mill Square. Positives - restaurant even features a large fireplace in the dining room to keep you warm on those cold days in the mountains. The menu is diverse and it has something for even a finicky eater. Our favorites on the menu include their ribeye. Oh, heaven on a plate. They also have a selection of salads, quiche, chicken, fish and hamburgers. This restaurant even bakes it own bread daily. Be sure not to fill up on bread before you eat your meal. Negatives – Parking tends to be an issue during peak seasonal times. Park across the street in Patriot Park and walk across to the restaurant for best access.
Canyon Grill, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, TN
This restaurant sits on top of Lookout Mountain, outside of Chattanooga, TN. Positives – The drive to this restaurant is a wonderful drive up the mountain, through some beautiful scenery.  The menu is very fresh, and changes frequently, as the chef goes to market daily and makes selection for that night’s menu. The staff was warm and friendly. Parking was not an issue. Negatives –  You need to eat there early, if you don’t want to run the chance of them running out of things on the menu, as they did when we went. By the way, our reservations were for 7:00 p.m., so we did not eat late. So go early!! The menu is pricey but well worth it.
Terminal Brewhouse, Chattanooga, TN
This restaurant is located in downtown Chattanooga. Positives – This restaurant’s menu has choices to suit everyone. The Brewhouse even features a large selection of beers and is even a working brewery! The restaurant is large and airy and can support a large crowd. There is a great deck outside to sit when the weather allows. The staff was courteous and friendly and parking was more than sufficient. Negatives – The restaurant has two levels and lots of stairs. If you are unable to climb stairs you may want to ask to sit on the main level.
